Everyone knows that the best way to watch some anime is with friends and beer. Of course this is something we like to do as often as possible, so we have decided once again to try and chronicle it! Armed with a fridge full of beer, Guinness and a host
of other random liquor (Grenadine!), we proceeded to watch random
episodes and get very, very drunk! Our choices for this night of
viewing included ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous and we tried
to review as we watched, pausing only for Pocky and cheesecake! |

I'm one of those people that stays relatively coherent for quite a while when drinking, but after a few hours it all kicks in and I go from 0 to hammered in about 15 minutes. Tom however, gets steadily drunker from the word go. This means that for I laugh at him for half the night, then drunkenness gets the better of me and he gets the chance to laugh back. My reviews during this drunken night make far more sense than Tom's because of this, a bit of a shame, but can't really do a lot about it... It's really hard to pick what to watch for things
like this, so we took it in turns. I'm still trying to work
out how I decided that Violence Jack and The Guyver
were a good idea, but at least I redeemed myself with Golden Boy.
We've got to watch some crap as well as the good stuff though so it
was worth it! |
