Please note that
the following review was written as part of a feature on drunken reviews.
Original spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors have been kept. The
aim of this to review was to determine how enjoyable the anime is to watch
whilst drunk, not whilst sober! Here we go:
Yes I picked Violence Jack. Don’t ask me why, it’s one of the worst thing si
have ever seen and I cvowed omnce that I would never watch it again, but now I
have.
It has some good ideas in it, but I stress the ‘some’. Basically it’s crap. It’s
impossible to say anything else. Humanity is sealed underground and are trying
to get out, but the criminal gang called Mad Saulus are trying to stop them.
It’s nasty from start to finish, with people eating insects, disease running
rampant, unnecessary killing and violence, children being killed, rape, murder,
the works. The script is packed woith swearing and unsavoury comments, and the
dub is utterly dire too.
The only funny thoing is Jack himself, he’s at lest twice as big as everyone
else, has huge sideburns and introduces himself with the line ‘Call me Jack…call
me Violence Jack’. Rubbish.
It does have some interesting ideas but it wastes all of them and just decends
ointo rape and violence and other unpleasentlness. Basically it’s bloody awful,
turn it off tom!!!!!!!!!!!
