aim of this to review was to determine how enjoyable the anime is to watch
whilst drunk, not whilst sober! Here we go:
We need something a bit lighter after najica so it’s Golden Boy turn! Plenty of
comedy and pervvinress make for a great mix, as the perpetual part timer kintaro
oe gets a job in an animation stufdio. Most of the episode has lots of
self-reference stuff about anime production as the studio tries to get their
rubbish anime film made.
It’sinformative but mostly it’s really funny, kintaro sniffing toilet seats
(don’t ask) the animatotr with the posh English accent and the psycho editor
woman who pushes them at every turn. Stress is taking over but who cares, I was
too busy wetting myself laiugfhing at the insane amounts of inappropriate speed
lines and daft comedy!
It also lets all the characters from the other episodes to turn up to give them
a hand, in a particularly cheesy way. It’s good fun though, this is a really
good episode and there are some great gags and silly moments all the time. Plus
the animation is good and the English dub is superb!! It’s a great episode and I
really enjoyed it, plus the character Chie is really cute so I can forgive the
moments of cheese!
