SERIES-LENGTH ANIME SPIN-OFF FROM VIDEOGAME JUGGERNAUT COLLECTED

BRIGHTON, UK, 3rd MARCH 2008

LDMS, in partnership with ADV Films, is pleased to offer the Final Fantasy: Unlimited Complete Collection.  All seven discs, compactly presented in a 7-disc Nexpak with European exclusive cover art, are available to buy from 17th March 2008, complete with the original on-disc extras.

In addition to its tie-in to the spectacularly successful video game franchise, Final Fantasy: Unlimited’s production team speaks to the quality of the title.  Final Fantasy: Unlimited is directed by Mahiro Maeda, one of the most acclaimed anime directors in Japan, as well as two of the animated shorts included in The Animatrix, the anime side project based on the hit feature trilogy The Matrix.  Producers for the series are SQUARE TV Tokyo (NOIR) and Dentsu (Princess Mononoke, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), with animation produced by Studio Gonzo (Hellsing, Full Metal Panic!, Chrono Crusade).

The Story:

12 years ago, the gateway to another world suddenly appeared and two mysterious beasts of astonishing power awoke!  The beasts appeared to destroy each other, leaving behind only a myriad of unanswered questions and the inexplicable Pillar of Darkness.  Now, the twin children of two scientists who disappeared on that so-called Day of Conjunction set forth on a hazardous quest in search of their lost parents.  Boarding a phantom subway, Ai and Yu travel to Wonderland, a chaotic world of amazing beauty and thrilling danger.  Accompanied by Lisa, an enigmatic woman they meet on the train, and Kaze, a brooding stranger with a demon-summoning gun, the twins begin an incredible journey that will lead to the mysterious heart of Wonderland.

Final Fantasy: Unlimited - Complete Collection (RRP £59.99) is a compact 7-disc Nexpak housing all seven DVDs of the original series, with identical content to the original releases, with brand-new European Exclusive cover art.  All 25 episodes are presented in both English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 audio with English subtitles.  Extras include commentaries, production sketches, key animation backgrounds, style guide, and more.
